Key Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll take on a variety of impactful responsibilities:

  • Liaison for Production Planning: Act as the primary point of contact for production planning, coordinating with internal teams such as Execution and Category partners, and external stakeholders to align business processes effectively.
  • Support Strategic Initiatives: Contribute to initiatives like data visualization, digital transformation tool development, and organizational partnerships, ensuring smooth change management processes.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Leverage storytelling and executive business reviews to translate data findings into actionable strategies that improve business outcomes.
  • Production Planning Excellence: Develop and refine equipment production plans in collaboration with organizational partners to meet customer demand and ensure timely data center delivery.
  • Risk Mitigation: Evaluate new supply scenarios, identify potential risks, and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Supplier Performance Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators and analyze supplier feedback to enhance customer experiences and identify areas for improvement.

What We’re Looking For

We seek candidates who excel in analytical thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and proactive problem-solving. Ideal qualifications include:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in fields such as Supply Chain, Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Operations, or Finance with 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Alternatively, equivalent professional experience in Data Science, Engineering, or Supply Chain Operations.
  • Ability to meet security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check, conducted upon hire and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degrees (Master’s) in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related fields with 8+ years of experience.
  • 12+ years of experience in supply chain analytics, engineering, or project management.
  • Expertise in Integrated Business Planning and the ability to navigate complex operational environments.

Compensation and Location Details

Microsoft offers competitive pay aligned with expertise and location. The base salary range for this role across the U.S. is $115,000–$200,300 annually. For specific work locations like the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City Metropolitan Area, the base pay increases to $146,200–$219,200 annually.
