The Content Engineering team develops the tools and platforms that Netflix’s creative partners use to create, launch, and market content worldwide. These solutions streamline every step of content creation, from initial ideas to viewing, providing novel ways to scale and manage entertainment.

Qualifications

  • Over 5 years of experience building resilient, high-performance, distributed microservices in production.
  • Expertise in gRPC, GraphQL, or RESTful API design and deployment.
  • Recent proficiency in Java, C#, or other OO languages, with solid understanding of OO design principles, concurrency, multi-threading, performance tuning, and system observability.
  • Proven experience architecting, developing, and managing distributed systems with high availability and fault tolerance.
  • Skilled in setting technical direction for projects, making architectural decisions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders and guide discussions.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and lead incident reviews.
