Your Role in Transforming the Industry

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll be responsible for migrating our monolithic architecture to a modern, scalable framework while collaborating with a talented team of developers and product managers. Your expertise will drive the design, implementation, and deployment of high-quality backend solutions that meet and exceed industry standards.

You’ll focus on enhancing the performance and responsiveness of our SaaS products, ensuring they remain robust, reliable, and aligned with modern engineering practices. This role demands a proactive mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to consistently deliver results while fostering collaboration and innovation.

What You’ll Contribute

  • Lead the modernization of our SaaS applications on the Azure cloud.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
  • Optimize application performance, identify bottlenecks, and fix bugs.
  • Maintain high standards of code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Implement robust automated testing practices to ensure reliability.
  • Advocate for incremental delivery and contribute to DORA metrics-based engineering excellence.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of modern backend development. Key qualifications include:

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Azure, C#.NET, SQL, and NoSQL.
  • Cloud Experience: Familiarity with Azure Cloud, AKS, K8S services, and serverless technologies.
  • Development Principles: Knowledge of SOLID, DRY, KISS, YAGNI, and TDD best practices.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex workflow challenges.
  • Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to work effectively across teams.
  • Experience: At least 8+ years in professional software development.

Preferred Skills

While not required, the following skills are a plus:

  • Experience with Autodesk products like AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM 360 Docs.
  • Knowledge of event-driven architectures and Azure serverless technologies.
  • Familiarity with deconstructing monolithic applications.
  • A solid understanding of security best practices.
